Can Any Of Us Stay Focused On The Lord?

Everyone knows the meme / scene about the squirrel at this point. haha. But on a serious note, and a faith note. Would you say you are good at staying focused on serving The Lord every day? I know I fail utterly at this myself. What does that even mean perhaps?

How To Tell A False Teacher

Have you ever wondered if there's ways to quickly spot false teachers? What if there are a few easy and quick things to look out for? Honestly I think everyone says over and over and over "don't listen to false teachers". But does anyone

Compassion Can Be UN-Biblical

Reading through the Bible multiple times amplifies understanding by exponential amounts. Not because we learn, but because The Lord shows us new things each time. There is so much value in reading it again and again. Especially if you want to improve. Especially if you want a better heart and

"I Can't See How What You’re Telling Me Could Be True"

Everyone Follows A Shepherd

Perhaps Christians and Conservatives are too proud, too precise, to...something to “stoop down” to using common tools and concepts to sway culture towards healthier and better days. Perhaps we're so focused on what’s precisely “right”. Perhaps we're so focused on what “the correct way&

The Bible Literally Says: The Lord Hates

I am in the middle of reading all the Proverbs again and this year 6:16-19 stood out. “There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked

The Difference Between Needing And Not Knowing

Have you ever said or prayed "Lord I need your help"? Or perhaps you feel called to something. And you’re happy to accept that. But you just can't seem to get things moving? Now I will absolutely acknowledge that yes, The Lord has his own

Are We Respecting Free Will?

If we respect The Lord's choice to give us all free will. While we should pray for and have compassion for everyone and hope for everyone. Should we not also be glad, yes glad, when certain people go to hell? Now that question might really tick you off.

The More Experienced You Get, The More Disconnected?

With the last number of years terms like "expert" and such have flown around in a lot of good... and a lot of negative discussions. I started to look around more throughout various online, and some offline communities. Both professional and entertainment focused. And I came to a

Over The Last 100 Years We Have Sought To Be More Compassionate In America...

It was something I never really picked up on growing up. The subtle cultural increase in focusing on being compassionate with people. * Compassionate with gang members, because they grew up in bad places * Compassionate with violent people, because they grew up in dysfunctional families * Etc In America we sought to

Is It Righteous To Be Against The Death Penalty?

There's a public trial going on right now with a woman who admits to brutally murdering her 3 children. The internet is chaos on the topic of course. Like everyhthing else. And most of it's because people only get their information from meme accounts, grifters, drama

Whether You’ve Been A Christian For 80 Days Or You’re Not

There's a truth that is often talked about or eluded to, that I never really took the time to think about before. Our knees. Most people find their knees at the peak of the mountain, or the bottom of a dark pit. It’s almost never the path

Life Happens And We Forget Who We Are

So many people complain and argue online these days. Whether they are people who don't know each other, or are online mutuals. It's happening all the time. Note: I’m not innocent myself of this. I am not throwing stones in a glass house. But if

Those Who Have Fallen Short Love More Deeply

Sometimes The Lord Allows Things

Would The Pottery Choose Differently?

Here's an interesting question: Would the pottery choose differently than the potter's design? As someone who grew up far from the church and Jesus I heard a lot of Christian's talk about predestination and all that. One thing that stuck out to me throughout

Do Us Christians Really Do That?

As Christians we are called to live each day as though Jesus is coming back, right? But let's be honest. Who actually does that consistently? Important to note that I don't make that statement in the "who does that?" snarky tone. But in the

Is The Story Of Jonah Being Used Wrong?

Just about everyone uses Jonah and the belly of the fish as a negative story. A story of "don't do that". A story of disobedience and a story of The Lord's mercy. And focusing on those concepts is right. But what if they are

All Is Vanity, Be Careful...

The Screw Ups Are The True Experts
