Are We Respecting Free Will?

Are We Respecting Free Will?

If we respect The Lord's choice to give us all free will.

While we should pray for and have compassion for everyone and hope for everyone. Should we not also be glad, yes glad, when certain people go to hell?

Now that question might really tick you off.

Now that question might confuse you to no end.

But if you have the will, hear me out.

If a person is truly vile, truly violent, truly abusive with their free will. Should we not be glad they will be in hell?

I don’t know if this is right. But it’s something to think about.

It's confusing if you're in America in 2026. Because we pray and hope for everyone. We hope for everyone to come to kneel before Jesus Christ.

Perhaps, maybe "glad" isn't the right word. Perhaps "relieved"? Perhaps "understanding The Lord's choice" to send them to Hell for the rest of eternity?

But

People who use their free will to rape and murder and abuse men, women and children. Shouldn’t we be glad justice was handed down and that person won’t be able to hurt anyone ever again and they got what they deserved?

I guess a tough, really tough question to wrestle with is:

If we are sad that evil people (we’re not talking about lost people) are in hell for eternity, are we spitting on Justice?
