The Difference Between Needing And Not Knowing

Have you ever said or prayed "Lord I need your help"?

Or perhaps you feel called to something. And you’re happy to accept that. But you just can't seem to get things moving?

Now I will absolutely acknowledge that yes, The Lord has his own timing. And he’s woven that timing into the tapestry of your life and the tapestry of the entire universe. Yes.

But

Have you ever wanted to answer the call. But there’s something inside you that’s broken? Or something inside you that's not growing fast enough or even growing at all and preventing you from answering the call He has on your life?

First off, I assure you. You are being worked on. You are being changed.

Usually The Lord is working on something else inside you, that is needed first before you step into your calling. it’s a prerequisite perhaps, that you don’t know about or you don't realize is needed.

If, well... it's not really an "if" now is it? It's a "when".

When you feel this way, that you're called but not able to answer the call yet it's good to step back and just pray.

Lord I don’t know how to cross this bridge. I don’t know how to overcome this thing that’s holding me back.

I want to want to
But I don’t know how to do it

Because many of us are prideful. We think we can figure it out on our own.

Yes, we know that we don’t understand the universe. But we think we’ve got this one thing figured out. And that might be the very thing , that prerequisite that The Lord is actually working on in you...

That pride. That specific pride of believing you understand something.

The pride of thinking

“I know how to handle THIS one thing.”
