Now Is Not The Time For Arguing About Denominations

In the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination there's been an amazing change across America and the world even.

So many are returning to church or coming to church for the fist time. But in the wake of this amazing global event some Christian's are really trying hard to mess it up. And all the while thinking they are doing the work of Jesus.

Now that might sound weird, or accusatory. And honestly it is a little of both because all over the social net there's evidence of this.

Evidence of it through people arguing over which version of the Bible is the "correct" one. And worse people railing against each other because they believe their denomination is the "real" or "only true" Christians.

So I figured it was a good time to recalibrate the communication space.

You see... you and your denomination don’t determine someone’s salvation. Nothing you say or do, nothing that is right about your denomination will determine someone's salvation.

Jesus determines your salvation, not which version of Bible you read
Jesus determines your future, not your denomination

You can be in a healthy denomination and not accept Jesus. And you can be in an unhealthy denomination and accept Jesus. It's about Jesus, not your denomination.

Now is the time for UNITY as believers

Who cares if you’re Catholic or Methodist.

Who cares if your Protestant or non-denominational.

It doesn't matter.

Because you and I are not right. We’re all wrong.

Jesus is the only one who’s right

Now is the time to be united as believers. Now is not the time to argue over creation or interpretation of this text or that text.

The most important commandment is to love the Lord. That’s the one that matters most. Arguing about scripture meaning is not good.

  • You will go to heaven and be wrong about baptism
  • You will go to heaven and be wrong about miracles
  • You will go to heaven and be wrong about politics
  • You will go to heaven and be wrong about Mary

It. Doesn’t. Matter.

The only thing that matters is Jesus. Everything else is just details.

Heaven is filled with Protestants, Catholics, Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, and others. Because your denomination doesn’t determine your eternity.

You acknowledging Jesus is the ONLY criteria that determines your final destination.
