Is Your Life Shrinking Or Dwindling?

Is Your Life Shrinking Or Dwindling?

When you stop, actually stop and look around yourself at your own life and then compare it to your hopes, your dreams, your plans... is your life smaller than you wanted it to be? Is it shrinking smaller and smaller? Is your world dwindling into more and more of a bubble?

Consider this. Our lives are much the same as our bodies, our muscles.

Basic biology teaches us that if you’re not using your muscles, they will shrink and dwindle.

Life realizations teach us that if you’re not pushing yourself to learn new things, read books, study, grow, experience or even talk to anyone new for years at a time... your world, and therefore your life will shrink and dwindle.

So what do we do about it?

Well, let's circle back to those muscles!

In order to become stronger, more flexible, or to just stop your body from becoming weaker you need to push against the stiffness, push against the "I don't have energy", push against the discomfort of straining your muscles to grow them healthier.

Would not the solution to your life be much the same?

Push against the sitting at home with just yourself and your family.

Push against listening to the same media, news, commentary channels for years and decades.

Life is like a river, and you're swimming in it.

You can either let the current control your life.

Or you can refuse that, and exert effort to steer your life through the currents.

It's your life, yes

But who's or what is steering it? Other people, or you?
